Terms of service

1. The service

CleoChristmas is a Discord bot with a companion website. Basic features are free. We may change, add or remove features, especially outside the Christmas season.

2. Fair use

Don't abuse the bot: no spam, harassment (including through anonymous Secret Santa messages), exploiting bugs or automating interactions. We may ban accounts and servers that break these rules or Discord's Terms of Service.

3. Virtual items

Candy Canes, items and badges are virtual, have no monetary value, cannot be bought with real money and cannot be exchanged for money.

4. Premium

North Pole+ (per server) and the Elf Pass (per user) are one-time purchases valid for the current season until January 31. Gift codes can be redeemed once. Prices include VAT where applicable.

5. Secret Santa

Real-world gifts are exchanged between the participants. We are not a party to these exchanges and are not responsible for gifts, shipping or budgets.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. The service is provided without guarantee of availability.

7. Law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
